The Elves and The Shoemaker

Yesterday, I stumbled across my childhood copy of

The Elves and The Shoemaker

(pictures by Hilda Miloche, 1958, Whitman Publishing Company).

I had forgotten all about it.

Its tattered pages are a testament to my love for it. ♥

Really, I loved anything that involved magical (and benevolent) creatures.

(This is probably why I was so duped by Sea-Monkeys.
Their package looked like this when I was little.  Grrrrr!)

Anyhoo…

I really treasured this tiny book.

I hope you like it too.

Click on the cover photo and it will take you to a page where you can read the whole thing.

Once you get there, you can click on the pictures in the lower right to move through the pages.

I haven’t quite figured out how to use the image galleries very well yet – my apologies if this doesn’t seem clear!

😀

Enjoy!
